Indian Auto Rickshaw (Chennai) - SolidWorks Modelling

Hello again, this time I have modeled an 'Indian Auto Rickshaw' commonly known as Tuk-Tuk in various Countries and in Chennai, it is known just as 'Auto'. I took around 6 hours to model this one. The dimensions were just taken randomly by referring google images. The link for the YouTube video is here.

The Auto while modelling is shown below.

This time I have added a scene in SolidWorks.... You can also give some useful feedback...:-).

Now to the rendering part, I rendered using PhotoWorks and then later using KeyShot. The rendered image using photoworks is shown below.

Now, the rendered images using KeyShot is shown below. Parking Lot HDR was downloaded from KeyShot website.

And that's all in this post. Hope you like it!

Material Handling Fork Lift Robot - SketchUp Modelling

Hey guys, this time I am presenting you the 3D model of my Under graduate Project 'Material Handling Fork Lift Robot'. Well, I had modeled it a long time ago which was before 2 years. Now, I have rendered it with KeyShot.

Here's the 3D model of my Project

I had used an Arduino Uno Controller to control 2 DC Motors and a Servo Motor. The Front Wheels were coupled to the DC motors. The mechanism used here is a rack and pinion. The pinion was coupled to the servo motor which was mounted on a L-Clamp. This model can be downloaded from here or here. The Working Video of this 3D model is shown below.

The rendered image of this model was done using Keyshot which is shown below.

Rendering in Keyshot is really fun and awesome. Hope you like it!

Mobile Robot Concept Design - SolidWorks Modelling

Hi there, this time I have modeled a Concept for Mobile Robot based on the combination of Helmet and Computer Mouse (I too know its sounds funny!... but you know experimenting with different kind or shapes of designs helps to enhance our design skills). This is my first concept model :-).

So, the mobile robot concept design while modelling is shown below

It took me around an hour and 30 minutes to complete this model. I have even uploaded my model on grabcad.com, if to want to download or modify it you can download from here.

Now coming on to the rendering section, firstly I used the inbuilt PhotoWorks 360 in SolidWorks and then used KeyShot to render. Luxion KeyShot is a good rendering software for the beginners. It can be downloaded from here.

The rendered images using PhotoWorks 360 are shown below.

Now the rendered images using KeyShot are shown below.

KeyShot is pretty impressive software to render and is an ideal rendering software to those who are new to this field.

Hope you like it!

Samsung TV Remote - SolidWorks Modelling

Hello again, this time I have modeled my TV remote using SolidWorks. The dimensions of this remote is neither precise nor accurate because I took the dimensions randomly. It took me around an hour to complete it. I got even more comfortable with SolidWorks and I love modelling in SW. Modelling in SW is kind of easy and very satisfactory.

Here's a look of Samsung TV Remote while modelling.

The Rendered Images of this TV remote is shown below. The rendering was done using PhotoWorks.

And here it is.... This is what which impresses me a lot. The PhotoWorks rendering comes along with SolidWorks bundle and is very easy to render.

And that's all guys. Hope you like it.
